Conference Gender Budgeting as an instrument for managing scientific organisations

"Bridging the Gap – Gender Budgeting
as a Management Instrument for Gender Equality at Universities" is the topic of a conference in Brussels on 17. September 2008.

Objectives of the conference:

• Present new perspectives on how to make science more attractive to women
• Dissemination of the findings of the project
• Motivation to implement gender budgeting in organisations of Higher Education
• Highlight the importance of a top-down strategy, funding criteria and the role of the EU
• Networking for further EU gender projects
